#5-88E. Precision in Lupus Arthritis: Validating the Novel LAMDA Instrument (Lancet Rheumatol, 2026)
2026年10月7日 12:00·5分40秒
In systemic lupus erythematosus, conventional outcome measures often fail to accurately capture subtle joint inflammation and treatment responsiveness. To address this gap, Wood and colleagues validated the Lupus Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Disease Activity score, a novel composite metric derived against ultrasound synovitis that incorporates swollen joint count, inflammatory markers, and patient-reported pain. While the derivation cohort exhibited relatively mild disease activity, the score demonstrated superior sensitivity and responsiveness compared to joint counts alone. This validated instrument provides clinicians with a more reliable tool to refine disease assessment and guide therapeutic decisions.
