お聴き頂きありがとうございます。「理系男の20代さよならラジオ」改め、「理系男の人生取締役会」です。今回は、我々が30歳になるにあたり、次の番組名を考えようという回です。始めた当初は、まさかこんなに長く続くとは思っていなく？ぜひお楽しみに！
収録日は2月28日。30歳まで、残り2週間。
「まさか第31回まで続くとは思っていなかった」——そう振り返りながら、2人はある重大な問題に直面していました。番組名「20代さよならラジオ」の賞味期限が、もう2週間後に切れる。
「30代おはよう」「30代こんにちは」はさすがに没。では何がいいのか——この回はその答えを求めて、盛大に迷走します。
ポッドキャストの作り方の本を引っ張り出してきて、「番組タイトルはワンフレーズでリスナーに価値を伝えなければならない」という原則を確認。でも我々は何を語っているのか？仕事？日常？ライフハック？——「ハックしようとしてるだけで、ハックはまだできてない」という正直な自己評価が飛び出します。
有力候補として浮上したのが「主張を欠く余白」というフレーズ。断言しない、でも何かを語りたい——この番組の空気感を言語化したような言葉として2人の心に引っかかります。しかし結論は出ず、「ちょっと時間作ってもう一回ブレストします」で持ち越し。
話はそのまま、企画会議のリアリティショー化の夢へと脱線。テレビ局の放送作家が企画を練る様子をそのまま流したら絶対おもしろい——「若手がぼこぼこにされてるところを見たい」という素直な好奇心を語りながら、それが実はこの番組のスタイルそのものだという気づきも。
20代さよならラジオよ、さよなら。30代、こんにちは——番組名を変えるということは、アイデンティティを更新することでもある。次回、新タイトルが決まります。

This episode is where the name change was decided — sort of.
Recording date: February 28th. Thirty years old: two weeks away. The problem: the show's title has an expiration date baked right into it. "Farewell to Our Twenties" stops making sense the moment they turn 30.
The brainstorm produces exactly zero clear winners. "Good Morning, Thirties" gets immediately rejected. A podcasting guidebook is consulted: titles should communicate in one phrase who's talking and what value the listener gets. The honest self-assessment: "We're trying to hack our lives — we haven't actually managed it yet."
A phrase that sticks: "a margin that lacks assertion" — a description of the show's vibe that neither of them can quite articulate but both recognize as accurate.
No conclusion is reached. The decision is postponed to the next session.
Along the way: a detour into the idea of broadcasting a TV writers' room live as a podcast. Watching junior staff get their ideas shot down, the whole unfiltered process of making something — both hosts agree they'd listen to that immediately. Which is, without either of them saying it directly, a fairly good description of what this show already is.
The name changes next episode. The spirit stays the same.
